Among the Best: Trojan Wrestling has runner up finish in Regional Dual Tournament

Congrats to the Millington Central High School Trojan Wrestling team on its Regional runner up finish in the dual wrestling tournament.
The Trojans defeated Creek Wood in the semifinals 60-24 before falling to Fairview in the finals.  Dylan Chapman (126), Lonzell Blackwell (170), Darren Garrity (220) and TJ Graves (285) all won their matches by pin. Garrity had the fastest pin in 9 seconds.
They have been extremely busy over the last couple of weeks. 
January 14 they traveled to Bartlett and came up short 51-30. Milton Yarbrough (145), Levi Smith (182) and TJ Graves (285) all won their matches by pin. 
January 16 it was time to go to Briarcrest and participate in the Dawg Fights tournament. Malik Wooten (113) & Garrett Haley (138) both finished 2nd, Adrian Carbajal (132) took 3rd and TJ Graves (285) was 4th in their respective weight classes. 
January 18 were the JV/Freshman Championships at Collierville. Will Howard (120) and Alejandro Gutierrez (145) both finished 4th in their respective weight classes. Other wrestlers participating in the tournament were Preston Herring & Cole Stevens (113), Dylan Chapman (126), Adrian Carbajal (132), Nathan Dickson (138), Porter White (145), Reid Morton, Wesley Bishop & Skylar Cantrell (152), Timothy Aderinoye (160), Andrew Hoskins (170), Levi Smith (182), Darren Garrity (195) & Brian Hernandez (285).
January 21 saw the Trojans taking on Arlington. The Tigers won 57-12 with TJ Graves (285) pinning his opponent in 59 seconds
