Mid-South Military Museum Info

The Mid-South Military Museum, Inc., located at 10021 Old Memphis Road in Atoka has outgrown its present location.

“We are now in the process of trying to acquire a new location in Millington on the north side of the Navy Base.

“If we get the location we want, we will go from a present 5,000 square feet to about 51,000 square feet. We would be able to enlarge our display and be able to take on many more items to display.”

The museum will need volunteers to help with the remodeling of the building, donations of money and donations of military artifacts for display.  The museum is looking for support to start the process that will help it have enough space to put on reenactments and other special events. The museum will have a library, snack bar, gift shops, genealogy research area, welcome center and space to hold traveling displays. For more information or to donation, call 355-5247
