CBC Monthly Meeting
The Millington City Beautiful Commission meets monthly on the first Thursday of each month at the Millington IDB Building located at 7965 Veterans Parkway. The public is welcomed to attend.
NSD September Meeting
North Shelby Democrats will hold their next monthly meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 9. The guestspeaker will be Heidi Kuhn, Shelby County Criminal Court Clerk. NSD meets at Olympic Steak and Pizza located at 8500 Wilkinsville Road, Millington starting at 6:35 p.m. Arrive early to order dinner. Everyone is welcome. Millington Food Pantry
The Millington Food Pantry is located on the grounds of Millington First United Methodist Church at 8029 Wilkinsville Road, is available to qualified residents of 38053 living in Shelby County. Hours of operation are each Tuesday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the third Saturday of each month 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Call 901-872-2771 to make an appointment. Appointments are not made in advance of the day the pantry is open.
Community Day with St. James Church
St. James CME Church Community Day will be held Sept. 20 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. St. James CME Church, Unity AME Church and other community churches are participating at 6836 Navy Road, in Millington.
