Crisis Center to host important fund-raiser
The Millington Crisis Center, located at 8133 Wilkinsville Road, is having a Yard Sale Aug. 16 and the deadline to rent a $25 booth is Aug. 5. The Crisis Center is in a crisis; which is why all donations and funds go towards them. For more information please see the flyer below.

Senior Exercise

CBC Monthly Meeting
The Millington City Beautiful Commission meets monthly on the first Thursday of each month at the Millington IDB Building located at 7965 Veterans Parkway. The public is welcomed to attend.
Millington Food Pantry
The Millington Food Pantry is located on the grounds of Millington First United Methodist Church at 8029 Wilkinsville Road, is available to qualified residents of 38053 living in Shelby County.
Hours of operation are each Tuesday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the third Saturday of each month 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Call 901-872-2771 to make an appointment. Appointments are not made in advance of the day the pantry is open.
NSD Monthly Meeting
North Shelby Democrats will hold their next monthly meeting on Aug. 12. The guest speaker will be Chief Deputy Sheriff Anthony J. Buckner. NSD will also sponsor a teacher supply drive. NSD meets at Olympic Steak and Pizza located at 8500 Wilkinsville Rd, Millington starting at 6:35 p.m. Arrive early to order dinner. Everyone is welcome. City of Millington Sports
The City of Millington’s Adult 3 vs. 3 Basketball is holding registration now until Aug. 15. There is cost per team and you must be 18 or older. The City of Millington’s Adult Co-ed Volleyball League is currently holding registrations until Aug. 15.
There is a cost per team and the games will be Tuesdays from Aug. 26 to Oct. 28 (10 games, no games before 6 p.m.)
