CBC Monthly Meeting
The Millington City Beautiful Commission meets monthly on the first Thursday of each month at the Millington IDB Building located at 7965 Veterans Parkway. The public is welcomed to attend.
Senior Club
The Millington Senior Citizen’s Club is meeting again Wednesdays at 10 a.m. with entertainment weekly. The club meets at the Baker Community Center located at 7942 Church Street. For more information, call 873-5770.

Millington Food Pantry
The Millington Food Pantry is located on the grounds of Millington First United Methodist Church at 8029 Wilkinsville Road, is available to qualified residents of 38053 living in Shelby County. Hours of operation are each Tuesday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the third Saturday of each month 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Call 901-872-2771 to make an appointment. Appointments are not made in advance of the day the pantry is open.
NSD Monthly Meeting
North Shelby Democrats will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 14 featuring Amber Mills, Shelby County Commissioner. NSD meets at Olympic Steak and Pizza located at 8500 Wilkinsville Road, Millington starting at 6:35 p.m. Arrive early to order dinner. Everyone is welcome. 3-on-3 Basketball in Millington
The City of Millington Parks & Recreation is offering Adult 3-on-3 Basketball with registration underway until Jan. 31. Team registration is $250, individual registration is $50. Men’s Mondays (some Wednesdays), co-ed & women’s are Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday. Games begin the first week of March, two games per week (doubleheaders). It will be a 10 game season plus single elimination tournament. Teams must have their own jerseys with a number on the back. Reversible jersey preferred, but not required. Free Throw Contest at St. William
The St. William Catholic Church Knights of Columbus Free Throw Contest for boys and girls ages 9-14 is on Sunday, Feb. 2 at 1 p.m. in the St. William Family Life Center Gym located at 4932 Easley Street in Millington. All are welcomed to participate even if they don’t attend the Church. Winners will advance to the District or Regional Free Throw Contest on dates TBA.
Spring Sports at Millington Parks & Rec 2025

Kids Snack & Create Classes
New series offered by the Millington Parks and Recreation kicks off this January. It involves various art projects and snack creations for boys and girls 6-12. Sign up for all 5 classes for $75 or individual classes for $25. Parents can sign up too for $15 per class.
