
Summer of Fun2025
Summer of Fun Pre-K Play 2025 started June 6 in Lions Park with March in the Park Play. The Summer of Fun Pre-K Play is a free program offered by Millington Parks & Recreation and the Millington Public Library that provides games and activities developmentally appropriate to young children age 2 to 5. Each session will be from 11 a.m. to noon. Registration is required by visiting www.millingtontn.gov

Lions Club

Senior Exercise
The senior exercise club meets Mondays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Baker Community Center located at 7942 Church Street in Millington. For more information, call 873-5770.

CBC Monthly Meeting
The Millington City Beautiful Commission meets monthly on the first Thursday of each month at the Millington IDB Building located at 7965 Veterans Parkway. The public is welcomed to attend.
Millington Food Pantry
The Millington Food Pantry is located on the grounds of Millington First United Methodist Church at 8029 Wilkinsville Road, is available to qualified residents of 38053 living in Shelby County.
Hours of operation are each Tuesday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the third Saturday of each month 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Call 901-872-2771 to make an appointment. Appointments are not made in advance of the day the pantry is open.
Millington Scoop Back to School Expo
On July 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ed Haley Sports Complex Gym there will be family events an giveaways for area students. For more information, call 873-5770.
NSD Monthly Meeting
North Shelby Democrats (NSD) will hold their next monthly meeting on Tuesday, July 8. The guest speaker will be Amber Huett-Garcia, Memphis/Shelby County School Board. NSD meets at Olympic Steak and Pizza located at 8500 Wilkinsville Road, in Millington starting at 6:35 p.m. Arrive early to order dinner. Everyone is welcome. Wilber Memorial Service July 8
The Navy Wives Club of America Memphis No. 119 (NSA Mid-South) will hold a Memorial Service to honor the late Lois Mary Malattia Wilber on July 8 at 1 p.m. at St. William’s Catholic Church located at 4932 Easley Street in Millington.
