Kids Snack & Create Classes
New series offered by the Millington Parks and Recreation kicks off this January.
It involves various art projects and snack creations for boys and girls 6-12.

Due to ongoing construction at Millington Early Learning Academy, Millington Municipal Schoos is moving the Screening Day from May 8 to the new date of June 18.

Millington CBC Free Mulch Final Saturday
Free Mulch is being given away from Millington City Beautiful Commission from April 5-May 31 on Saturdays only from 8 a.m. to noon at the Recycling Center located 4658 Biloxi Avenue. Rock Art for Kids will be held April 26 from 9 to 11 a.m. For more information, call 237-6353.

NSD Monthly Meeting
North Shelby Democrats (NSD) will hold it’s monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. The guest speaker will be Mickell M. Lowrey, County Commissioner. CBC Monthly Meeting
The Millington City Beautiful Commission meets monthly on the first Thursday of each month at the Millington IDB Building located at 7965 Veterans Parkway. The public is welcomed to attend.
Millington Food Pantry
The Millington Food Pantry is located on the grounds of Millington First United Methodist Church at 8029 Wilkinsville Road, is available to qualified residents of 38053 living in Shelby County.
Hours of operation are each Tuesday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the third Saturday of each month 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Call 901-872-2771 to make an appointment. Appointments are not made in advance of the day the pantry is open.
Craft & Vendor Show
The City of Millington Craft & Vendor Show will be held June 21 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Baker Community Center. Come out to support local markets and do some summer shopping. Updates will be available at millingtontn.gov or follow on Facebook with the City of Millington.
2025 Flag City Freedom Celebration
Celebrate America’s upcoming 249th birthday on July 2 at the Millington-Memphis Airport. Gates open at 6 p.m and fireworks will be shot about 9 p.m. For more information, call 873-5770.
