The Millington Senior Citizen’s Club is meeting again Wednesdays at 10 a.m. with entertainment weekly.

5K coming to Millington
Wish Upon a Star 5K Fun Run/Walk will be held April 5 at 8 a.m. at Edmund Orgill Park in Millington. All participants will receive a free T-shirt and top runners will be awarded medals. The course is a cross-country course, limited elevation change, with views. To register please scan code.
CBC Monthly Meeting
The Millington City Beautiful Commission meets monthly on the first Thursday of each month at the Millington IDB Building located at 7965 Veterans Parkway. The public is welcomed to attend.
Craft & Vendor Show coming in March
The Millington Parks & Recreation Craft and Vendor Show will be held March 29 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Baker Community Center located at 7942 Church Street. Millington Food Pantry
The Millington Food Pantry is located on the grounds of Millington First United Methodist Church at 8029 Wilkinsville Road, is available to qualified residents of 38053 living in Shelby County.
Hours of operation are each Tuesday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the third Saturday of each month 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Call 901-872-2771 to make an appointment. Appointments are not made in advance of the day the pantry is open.
Kids Snack & Create Classes
New series offered by the Millington Parks and Recreation kicks off this January.
It involves various art projects and snack creations for boys and girls 6-12.
Sign up for all 5 classes for $75 or individual classes for $25. Parents can sign up too for $15 per class.

Huey’s Celebrating 55 years
Huey’s is celebrating its 55th Anniversary Block Party with live music by artist like Lucero, Sons of Mudboy and more. The event held April 13 from 1 to 8 p.m. at the Huey’s Midtown will include food, community vendors, craft beer, kids zone and much more. The entry is free.
Millington CBC Free Mulch Saturdays
Free Mulch is being given away from Millington City Beautiful Commission from April 5-May 31 on Saturdays only from 8 a.m. to noon at the Recycling Center located 4658 Biloxi Avenue. Rock Art for Kids will be held April 26 from 9 to 11 a.m. For more information, call 237-6353.
2025 Springfest
The 13th Annual 2025 Shelby Forest Spring Fest will be held April 12 in the old UA Moore Ballpark (Shelby Forest State Park). There will be live music, food, arts and crafts vendors, wildlife and cultural exhibits and a Mardi Gras theme and remembering the life and music of Jimmy Buffett.
