Military Apprecation Breakfast

The 2025 Military Appreciation Breakfast presented by the Millington Area Chamber of Commerce will be held March 27 at 8 a.m. at the First Baptist Chruch Millington located at 5010 West Union Road. For more information and sponsorship opportunities, call 872-1486. 

NSD to Host Mulroy 

North Shelby Democrats (NSD) will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday, March 11 featuring Steven J. Mulroy, District Attorney for Shelby County, NSD meets at Olympic Steak and Pizza located at 8500 Wilkinsville Road in Millington starting at 6:35 p.m. Arrive early to order dinner. Senior Club

The Millington Senior Citizen’s Club is meeting again Wednesdays at 10 a.m. with entertainment weekly. The club meets at the Baker Community Center located at 7942 Church Street. For more information, call 873-5770. 

Craft & Vendor Show coming in March

The Millington Parks & Recreation Craft and Vendor Show will be held March 29 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Baker Community Center located at 7942 Church Street. In addition, a $5 Pancake Breakfast will be hosted by the Millington Kiwanis Club starting at 7 a.m. For more information, visit millingtontn.gov or call 873-5770.

Millington Food Pantry

The Millington Food Pantry is located on the grounds of Millington First United Methodist Church at 8029 Wilkinsville Road, is available to qualified residents of 38053 living in Shelby County.  Hours of operation are each Tuesday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the third Saturday of each month 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.  Call 901-872-2771 to make an appointment.  Appointments are not made  in advance of the day the pantry is open.

Kids Snack & Create Classes

New series offered by the Millington Parks and Recreation kicks off this January. It involves various art projects and snack creations for boys and girls 6-12. Sign up for all 5 classes for $75 or individual classes for $25. Parents can sign up too for $15 per class. Senior Exercise

The senior exercise club meets Mondays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Baker Community Center located at 7942 Church Street in Millington. For more information, call 873-5770.

CBC Monthly Meeting

The Millington City Beautiful Commission meets monthly on the first Thursday of each month at the Millington IDB Building located at 7965 Veterans Parkway. The public is welcomed to attend.
