Lions Club

Senior Exercise

The senior exercise club meets Mondays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Baker Community Center located at 7942 Church Street in Millington. For more information, call 873-5770.

CBC Monthly Meeting

The Millington City Beautiful Commission meets monthly on the first Thursday of each month at the Millington IDB Building located at 7965 Veterans Parkway. The public is welcomed to attend.

Millington Food Pantry

The Millington Food Pantry is located on the grounds of Millington First United Methodist Church at 8029 Wilkinsville Road, is available to qualified residents of 38053 living in Shelby County.  Hours of operation are each Tuesday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the third Saturday of each month 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.  Call 901-872-2771 to make an appointment.  Appointments are not made  in advance of the day the pantry is open.

NSD Monthly Meeting Oct. 14

North Shelby Democrats will meet on Oct.14.  The guestspeaker will be Anthony Buckner, Shelby County Chief Deputy Sheriff. Candidates are welcome to stop by and introduce themselves. NSD will be accepting donations to purchase musical items for the Millington Early Learning Academy. NSD meets at Olympic Steak and Pizza, 8500 Wilkinsville Road, Millington starting at 6:35 p.m. Arrive early to order dinner. Everyone is welcome. MPD Trunk or Treak coming Oct. 25

Trunk or Treat with the Millington Police Department will be held Oct. 25 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Discovery Park at 5152 Easley Street. Help the MPD make this event special with donations and participate in the fun tradition. There will be treats, small giveaways, decorations, supplies, raffle prizes and more. Fall Festival set for Oct. 25 

The 2025 City of Millington Fall Festival will be held Oct. 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Discovery Park located at 5152 Easley Street. The event is free and will feature vendors, hayride, face painting, costume contest, inflatables, food trucks and of course candy. Tree Lighting and Parade combo set for night of Dec. 4

City of Millington Tree Lighting will be held Thursday Dec. 4 at 6:15 p.m. at Millington Fire Department Station 1 near City Hall. Line starts at 5:30 p.m. and after the tree lighting get ready for the 2025 City of Millington Christmas Parade kicking off at 6:30 p.m. near Navy/Newport-Navy/Church. Santa to come back to town Dec. 9

Santa’s Stop at the Station will be held Tuesday Dec. 9 from 5-7 p.m. at Millington Fire Station 1 located at 4836 Navy Road. There will be pictures with Santa, cookies, hot chocolate, food trucks and goodie bags. For more information, call 873-5770.
