Millington Food Pantry
The Millington Food Pantry is located on the grounds of Millington First United Methodist Church at 8029 Wilkinsville Road, is available to qualified residents of 38053 living in Shelby County. Hours of operation are each Tuesday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the third Saturday of each month 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Call 901-872-2771 to make an appointment. Appointments are not made in advance of the day the pantry is open.
CBC Monthly Meeting
The Millington City Beautiful Commission meets monthly on the first Thursday of each month at the Millington IDB Building located at 7965 Veterans Parkway. The public is welcomed to attend.
Senior Exercise
The senior exercise club meets Mondays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Baker Community Center located at 7942 Church Street in Millington. For more information, call 873-5770.

Goat Days Set for Sept. 9
The 33rd Annual International Goat Days Festival will be held Sept. 9 with the gates opening at 7 a.m. at the Millington Sports Complex located at 4885 Bill Knight Road. Ladies Lunch & Shop
The Millington Area Chamber of Commerce is inviting the public out to the annual ladies luncheon titled Ladies Lunch & Shop Sept. 21 with shopping starting at 10 a.m. The lunch and program will start at 11:30 and shopping picks back up at 1 p.m. at Crosspointe Baptist Church located at 8850 Highway 51 North. Youth Sport Clinics
Millington Parks and Recreation is proud to announce a collaboration with Millington Central High School on some youth sports clinics for a number of different sports. These clinics will be instructed by the coaches and players of Trojans sports teams both past and present. Each of the clinics will be limited in the number of participants and the ages will vary by sport.
