Today 10 bags of food donated by the veterans were delivered to St. Anne’s for the Insight Gallery Artist’s Lunch, which will be held on Nov. 20. And another 10 bags is expected tomorrow.
The veterans have also donated 15 pounds of potato salad for the lunch and a variety of sandwiches. Both classes of art students paintings and sculpture, my class and their work as center pieces for people to see.
InSight Gallery and St. Anne’s Episcopal is inviting local artists to an after service lunch, Nov. 20 at noon.
The first Exhibit will feature 41 artists from Millington, Mississippi, New York, and Europe. Currently, 127 pieces of art are scheduled to be on display and want to invite artists and the public to come, meet our congregation, meet Millington artists and enjoy a bit of lunch.
The fee is one can of vegetables or other non-perishable food item. The “InSight Gallery” is supporting St. Anne’s Annual Food Drive for the Millington Food Bank.
