On Nov. 18 during the season-opener for Millington Trojan Basketball, the school honored and recognized the 2015 Millington Central High School Volleyball team. Led by Head Coach Jenna Harper, the Millington Lady Trojans finished as regular-season District 15-2A runner ups. The Lady Trojans went on to win the school’s first District Volleyball Tournament championship beating regular-season champs Covington. Millington advanced to Regionals hosting the event for the first time in school history. The Lady Trojans earned a spot in the championship game and advanced to Sectionals. Millington finished one game away from the Class 2A State Tournament. All-District honors went to Ashley Freeze, Paige Hall and Addison Coulter. All-District Tournament players were Ally Hall, Autumn Taylor, Coulter and MVP Freeze. Harper was named Coach of the Year.
The 2015 Millington Lady Trojan Volleyball team members are Ashley Freeze, Ally Hall, Emily Camp, Autumn Taylor, Camilla Irizarry, Keiana Fields, Addison Coulter, Lily Morton, Divine Lurry, Paige Hall, Dymond Green and Hannah Clifton.
