The 2015 Brighton Lady Cardinal Golf team coached by Kim Greer took first place in the TSSAA District 13-3A Golf Tournament held at the Pickwick Landing Golf Course Monday with a team score of 161. Brighton standout Aubree Jones posted a 72 and was the low medalist for the tourney and sophomore Tess Hendrickson took second low medalist with an 89. “It was a really beautiful day to play golf,” Greer said. “The course was in great shape and the Dyer and Hardin County golf teams always do a great job coordinating the tournament along with the PLGC head pro and staff.”
The TSSAA Division One Region 7-3A Tournament is scheduled for Sept. 21 at Glen Eagle Golf Course in Millington, starting at 9 a.m.
