A Town Hall Meeting for the Lucy community in Millington will be held Thursday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. at Lucy Baptist Church to discuss de-annexation from the City of Millington.
Lucy Baptist Church is located at 4005 Lucy Road in Millington and the purpose of the meeting is to receive community input regarding possible de-annexation from the City of Millington.
“After receiving numerous requests to discuss the possibility for Lucy to be de-annexed from the City of Millington by residents and community leaders I arranged for a Town Hall to receive input from the residents of the Lucy area,” said Shelby County Chairman Terry Roland. “I hope the residents use this time to let the elected officials hear their concerns and requests for the future of Lucy.”
