Last Saturday the 901 Church of Millington gave parents and their children a chance to kickoff the week of Easter with “The Drop.” 901 Church is located at 8077 Wilkinsville Road and last year’s event was held at USA Stadium in rainy, muddy conditions. The 2023 edition of “The Drop” came a day after dangerous storms rolled through the Mid-South the previous day. Saturday was sunny with ideal temperatures on the campus of Millington Central Middle High School on the new Mooney Boswell Field. For about three hours area children met 901 Church leaders, fantasy characters and of course hunted the eggs. “The Drop” was open to all ages and prizes were given out as well.
