Five Star Real Estate Services LLP opened it’s doors in Millington on New Year’s Day.
Fast forward four months, owner/broker Sue Anne Cobb extended a welcome to the Millington Area Chamber of Commerce and city leaders for an official grand opening.
Cobb and partner Jennifer Cox cut the ribbon April 5 in conjunction with next door business neighbor Splash Plumbing.
Cobb, a member of the Women’s Council of Realtors, brings nearly 20 years of experience in real estate. Cox has more than 10 years in the business.
There focus now is mainly residential. Cobb and her husband Ronnie feel the 4803 Cuba Millington Road location is the ideal place for a future homeowner to do business.
The couple renovated the office with authentic art and decorations to give an inviting feel to customers. There is even a room designed for children while their parents discuss business.

SPLASH PLUMBING
Cody Childress’ business has been making waves for nearly 30 years throughout the Memphis area.
From handling plumbing needs in Collierville or Germantown to recently donating work to finish the Millington Central High School Band Concession stand, some might say Childress’ company has made a “splash”.
On April 5 the latest recognition for Splash Plumbing came when the Millington Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting for the business along side next-door business neighbor Five Star Real Estate Services LLP.
“It’s been a longtime coming,” Childress said. “We actually moved in here in November. Finally getting this building turned around to the way we like it, with Sue Ann Cobb next door, we decided to do a two-for-one grand opening. It’s really nice to have a lot of people here.”
Splash Plumbing currently calls 4805 Cuba Millington Road home. Back in 1988 the business started and grew out of the large garage of Childress’ home in Lucy.
While servicing customers throughout Shelby County, Childress became more visual in Millington through Millington Municipal Schools. His wife Mary Beth is the face that greets parents and guardians at Millington Elementary School.
Meanwhile Cody is a member of the Millington School Board. Before he joined the Board, he was a frequently supporter behind the scenes donating to the schools. Every Friday night during football season, spectators on the visiting side utilize Childress’ generosity at the MCHS Band Concession Stand.
