Clean up of Joyner Park postponed

The rehab project at Joyner Ball Field near Millington Middle School scheduled for this Saturday has been postponed. The event was set to start at 10 a.m. to fix the Joyner Ball Field dugouts. The plan was to tear down the old, dilapidated dugouts and replace with new, open air, chain link dugouts. The city of Millington is seeking adult volunteers for the project to make some much needed improvements before the 2015 Baseball, Softball and T-Ball seasons get underway.
