IN BASEBALL ACTION: In a District 15-2A clash, the Millington Trojans tried to seek some revenge at Miles Park April 20 against the Ripley Tigers. The Tigers were victorious the previous night 5-2. The Tigers were ahead 5-2 in the rematch in the seventh inning when the Trojans rallied to force extra innings. Ripley pulled together for two runs in the ninth innings to earn the 7-5 victory. IN SOCCER ACTION: The Munford Cougars jumped out to an early 1-0 advantage in the early moments of the game April 20 at Hornet Field. Then the Millington Trojans were able to deadlock the game in the second half to finish in a tie with their Tipton County rivals.
