The Munford Cougars held off the visiting Millington Trojans 61-49 Friday night in the Munford Gymnasium.
The Cougars were led by guard Jonathan Starks and center Kylon Hall in building a 30-20 halftime lead over their rivals. Munford build an advantage as large as 46-28 in the third quarter.
Millington made a rally in the fourth quarter to put with 56-49. But late free throws from Starks and teammate Antonio Moore held off the Trojans.
