God Doesn’t Make Things—He Crafts Systems God doesn’t merely create isolated “things”; He engineers intricate systems that sustain life and declare His glory. Consider the solar system: planets orbit the sun in perfect harmony, governed by laws of physics that keep everything in balance. Scripture affirms this in Job 26:7: “He stretches out the north over empty space; He hangs the earth upon nothing.” We have all now seen our planet suspended in the void, a testament to divine engineering explained thousands of years ago.
Look at the water cycle, a self-sustaining loop of evaporation, condensation, and precipitation that
nourishes the earth. Job 36:27-28 describes it poetically: “For He draws up the drops of water; they distill His mist in rain, which the skies pour down and drop on mankind abundantly.” This system, woven into creation, provides life without fail.
In our bodies, the circulatory system pumps blood through vessels, fueling every cell—like a divine irrigation network. Psalm 139:14 declares, “I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” The lungs branch in fractal patterns, mirroring trees, optimizing breath and growth. These self-similar designs extend to galaxies’ spiral arms and the nautilus shell, following the Fibonacci sequence for efficiency.
Even DNA, woven like threads into a double helix, holds vast information—enough to stretch to the sun and back 600 times—encoding life’s blueprint. Hebrews 11:3 reveals: “By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.” From invisible forces to visible wonders, these systems shout of a Programmer. Today, marvel at this synchronized masterpiece. The heavens declare His glory (Psalm 19:1), inviting us to thank the Creator who sustains it all. What profound design from the grand Designer.
