Crisis Center Toy Drive application deadline Dec. 8

The Millington Crisis Center, located at 8133 Wilkinsville Road, is conducting its 2020 Christmas Toy Drive. Help the Crisis Center to help others in the community this Christmas by donating an unwrapped toy or toys at a value of $15.
The deadline to get on the Christmas Toy Drive list is Dec. 8 at noon, no exception. Eligibility for toys are children must be aged 0-12 years old and living in the 38053 zip code area. Other requirements include: housing authority lease listing all your children, food stamp current award letter listing your children, proof of residence with children birth certificates, utility bills with children birth certificates, unemployed because of COVID-19 you will need letter of unemployment approval or denial along with children birth certificates.
The deadline once again is Dec. 8 to get on the list and verification must be completed.
Call the Millington Crisis Center at 901-872-4357, please speak slowly and clear leaving your name, good telephone number stating you want to be put the Christmas List. (All calls are returned.)
The deadline for donating toys is Dec. 11. The donation locations are Patriot Bank in Millington located at 8376 Highway 51 North and the Millington Crisis Center. For more information, call 872-4357.
