Patches of ice in parking lots and trees weighed down by the frozen precipitation after last Thursday’s ice storm that hit the entire Mid-South. Millington suffered damaged trees and residents in the area had to deal with temporary closures of businesses, schools and government facilities. From Kroger to Walmart, there were adjusted times of operations. Some residents were without power as a part of nearly 200,000 Memphis Light Gas and Water customers at the peak.
