The Millington Trojans Wrestling teams took the next step towards the State Individual Championships as the grapplers battled in the Sectional round last Friday and Saturday. The Lady Trojans wrestled at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville on Friday. The top four finishers in each weight class advanced to the TSSAA State Championships in Franklin scheduled for this Friday and Saturday.
(Cost is $12 per person and under 5 years old is free and you have to buy the tickets in advance at gofan.co. Wrestling will get underway at 3 p.m. and they will not let anyone in the building until 2:30 p.m.)

Madyson Jones third place in 126 pound division
Zahra White Chepkwony third place in 107-pound division
The Trojans wrestled at Harpeth High School last Saturday in Sectionals. The top four finishers in each weight class also advanced to the TSSAA State Championships in Franklin this weekend.
(Cost is $12 per person and under 5 is free. You have to buy the tickets in advance at gofan.co. Wrestling will get underway no later than 10 a.m. and possible as early as 9:30 a.m.)
