Munford High School celebrated Homecoming last week across the campus. The Munford Golf program took a moment out to shine the spotlight on its quartet of seniors Joshua Hatfield, Drew Drexler, Kyle Kelley and Austin Cousar.
The boys have been thru school together since kindergarten, They all had the same teacher at Munford Elementary School. They are all on the Cougar Baseball team.
Last week on the course they helped the Cougars pick up some wins. On Sept. 20 against Bolton High School at Glen Eagle in Millington, Munford’s total score was 163. Bolton shot a 196. Hatfield was the medalist shooting a 35.
Then on Thursday, the Cougars took on rivals Brighton and Arlington at Forest Hill in Drummonds.
The Munford shot a 158, Arlington 161, and Brighton 185. Drexler was the medalist with a 35.
