Falcons Take Flight

Atoka Family Fellowship Academy’s staff, administration and students celebrated their first week of operation. The school year began Aug. 15 for the new institution of faith and learning. The announcement came down earlier this year that Woodlawn Baptist Academy would become Atoka Family Fellowship. The school opened in 1969 in Frayser. It moved to the current campus at 6083 Old Millington Road. Several pictures were taken on the first day of school with about 70 children enrolled. “We are really excited to announce that on Sept. 4 we will be holding our church services and moving to the Millington location,” staff member Christina Halleron said.
