At last month’s 2016 International Goat Days Festival at USA Stadium in Millington, some area youth got a lesson in charity. Ashlyn Halby and sisters Lucy and Sydney Harris helped operate the S&L Farms Horse and Pony Rides during both days of Goat Days. The attraction raised more than $1,300 with a grand going toward a school teacher from Bartlett suffering from Stage 4 cancer.
While the girls worked hard conducting rides for children visiting the festival, Halby and the Harris sister got a chance to grab a bite to eat from Indian Joe’s. And the girls rode around the concert area on their ponies displaying the American and Tennessee flags while Duke Henrys played on the main stage.
