There were many attractions at the 27th Annunal International Goat Days held at USA Stadium last weekend including storytime featuring Christine Conwell. Conwell, lebrary director, made the trip from the Sam T. Wilson Library in Arlington to conduct storytime uder the Millington Arts Council tent Saturday. The 27th Annual International Goat Days Family Festival was held at USA Stadium Complex in Millington September 9 and 10. Goat Days is a fun and funky community festival jam packed with things to do and experience for the whole family. International Goat Days draws more than 35,000 participants and spectators from throughout the United States for this multi-day community festival. The 2016 event kicked off with the traditional parade Friday evening featuring goats, horses, the Southwest Tennessee Baseball team, Millington Central High School Color Guard, MCHS Band and Millington Middle School bands and more before Millington Mayor Terry Jones opened the 2016 International Goat Days.
