The Bolivar Central Tigers made the trip to Millington to take on the Trojans Jan. 22 in the William Osteen Gymnasium. The Tigers traveled back home that evening sweeping the doubleheader. The night began with the Lady Tigers vs. Lady Trojans. Bolivar jumped ahead 12-4 in the first quarter leading to a 59-34 victory. In boys action, the Tigers managed to hold a narrow advantage throughout the night before prevailing 61-57. The Trojans bounced back Friday night with a road win at Ripley giving Millington control over its postseason destiny.
