JACKSON — Sarah Hardaway of Atoka was one of 310 students named to the Union University President’s List for the spring 2022 semester.
The President’s List includes full-time students who achieve a 4.0 grade point average on a four-point scale.
Union will celebrate Hardaway’s excellence in the classroom with a time of celebration planned for Aug. 24 in the Carl Grant Events Center.
Hardaway will be starting her sophomore year at Union University in the fall.
“This is a major achievement and accomplishment,” Sarah’s father Christopher said. “We were so very surprised and thrilled beyond belief when we received the news. Out of about 3,000 students, Sarah was one of 300 students to receive this recognition. This means she was in the top 10 percent to get this award.”
The family of Sarah, parents Christopher and La Creasia Hardaway and her siblings, John, Josiah, Hannah, Lydia, Naomi and Noah are so very Godly proud of her. They also wanted to express congratulations to Sarah for achievement.
