Highlight of 2020: Hardaway graces pages of legendary children’s magazine

Hannah Ruth Hardaway wrote this poem a year and a half ago when she was 11. She received a letter back in 2020 after turning 13 years old congratulating her on her accomplishment that was featured in the September 2020 Highlights Magazine.
Hardaway was so surprised and shocked as were her parents Christopher and LaCreasia after such a long time with no response. 
“We were so excited to learn that our daughter’s work has been included in the September, 2020 issue of Highlights,” Christopher said. “This is a major achievement and a highlight of our 2020.”
Hannah and her parents live in Atoka. Hannah Ruth Hardaway is in the eighth grade this winter at Faith Heritage Christian Academy in Millington.
She wants to be an actress when she grows up and some of her favorite hobbies are painting and drawing, conversioning with her brothers and sisters, being together as a family and enjoying time on family night, playing with her pet kitten Felix.
