The Munford Cougars traveled to Memphis last week to play in the Lynx Holiday Tournament on the campus of Lausanne. The Cougars took on the Olive Branch Quistors Friday afternoon dropping a 62-58 decision. Munford trailed by double digits at one point. But the Cougars rallied behind the hot shooting of Kameron Foster, Kylon Hall (above left) and Jonathan Stark (above right). After trailing 38-26 at halftime, the Cougars cut the deficit to one point heading into the fourth quarter. Munford took the lead in the final period and was ahead 58-57 after a Stark jumper. Then Olive Branch took the lead for good when guard Sam Craft hit a jumper that bounce off the backboard into the net. Free throws closed out the victory for Olive Branch. Quistors Craft and Justin McClellon combined for 34 points.  Foster, Hall and Stark all reached double figures in scoring for Munford. Stark led the way with 19 points. Hall contributed 16 and Foster added 14.
