The Tipton-Rosemark Academy Lady Rebels took on area rival the Covington Lady Chargers Aug. 25 at the Rebel Soccer Field.
The battle was a seesaw affair in the first 40 minutes with 7 goals being scored. Behind a pair of Brianna Hall goals and first goal by Emma Grace Pence, TRA held a 4-3 advantage at the break.
Then the squad of Head Coach Steven Starnes seized control of the game with 4 goals in the second half to prevail 8-3. The Lady Rebel defense limited the shot opportunities of the Lady Chargers in the final 40 minutes and got several attempts on the opposition’s goal connecting on four shots.
