Legal Thriller

We are all familiar with how John Grisham went from a small town Mississippi practicing attorney to a world renowned best-selling author.  Well the next John Grisham may be here. My friend attorney Bill Walk has penned a great first novel called “holes in the soles of his Gucci loafers ”.

Memphians particularly will really enjoy the book because of its description of the city, sights, and smells that is so vivid I’m pretty sure I got barbecue sauce on my fingertips from one section

Unlike some of the movie adaptations of Gresham’s thrillers, the legal scenes and particularly, a medical malpractice case he unfolds in the book, are actually realistic.

The characters are complex and multi-dimensional.

Anytime a book makes me dislike the villain but also feel partially sorry for him, I believe that’s the height of an author’s craft.

It’s available on Amazon and I highly recommend the read if you have any interest in legal thrillers or the sights and sounds of Memphis particular.
