Millington Lions Club, along with providing sight and hearing services, also offers a Peace Poster Contest for middle school students in Munford and Millington. The theme this year was “Dare to Dream”. The Club presented the winner, Ridhika Islam from Munford Middle School, with a $50 check. This year, slam also has won the West Tennessee District 12-L Lions award of $100. Pictured are her father, MD Islam, winner Islam, Lions President Linda Overstreet, and art instructor John Zubiate.
