Lions Club Contest Winners

Millington Lions Club serves Millington, Southwest Tipton County, and Frayser in Memphis.  The Club holds an annual Lions Clubs International Peace Poster Contest to give children the chance to ‘express their visions of peace and inspire the world through art and creativity’. The contest is open to Middle School students between the ages of 11 and 13 with a monetary reward for the winner(s). Some of the schools in Millington, Munford, and Frayser did not participate because of COVID or restructuring. The participating school in 2021 was the sixth grade at Millington Intermediate School. Pictured are Lion Carrie Marcinko, first place $50 winner ~ Ambriella Vandeventer, Art teacher Lori Campbell, second place $25 winner ~ Shreya Patel, and Lion President Linda Overstreet.
