Local Chiropractor Damien TCA president

NASHVILLE — The Tennessee Chiropractic Association has elected Dr. Curtis Damien as the association’s next president. It was announced at the annual convention this past August in Murfreesboro. “Dr. Damien’s service to the board over many years and his demonstrated leadership skills make him an excellent choice for president of our association,” Tiffany Stevens said, executive director of the TCA. “Our organization will benefit greatly from his professional experience and unwavering commitment to his community.” Damien graduated from Life University in 1997 obtaining his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He received an undergraduate degree in general nutrition where he graduated Valedictorian of his class. Practicing in Millington. Damien also focuses on lifestyle modification and exercise science while utilizing his more than 19 years of clinical experience. Damien has held a number of positions with the TCA, holding positions as secretary from 2008 to 2011, chair of the 2011 Vision Ad Hoc Committee and treasurer from 2012-2014. In addition to his TCA duties, Damien is actively involved in his community and has, on multiple occasions, been the honored recipient of The Millington Star’s people’s choice award for Chiropractic of the Year.

Damien also served in the U.S. Army for 7 years where he specialized in top secret cryptography. He was selected as the non-commissioned officer of the year for two consecutive years and received numerous other service related awards. Damien became certified as an Army Master Fitness Trainer where he was awarded the President’s Award for Physical Fitness.
