The Millington Central High School Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2014 was announced Monday morning by the school’s Athletic Department.
The second class to be inducted will feature Carlton Peete (three-sport standout), Coach Kevin McMillan (girls’ basketball in early 1990s), the Millington Four (2000 State champion relay team), Archie Bennett (multiple sport standout, attended Memphis), Abe Massey (Massey Auto Parts and support of Trojan Sports), the 1979 and 1981 Lady Trojan Softball teams (state runner ups) and Debra Spencer (track standout, attended Memphis).
This group will be inducted into the MCHS Hall of Fame on Nov. 13 during halftime of the Lady Trojans Basketball game in the Willliam Osteen Gymnasium. The Hall of Fame Basketball game against MHEA will tip-off at 6 p.m. For more information, call 873-8100.
