Millington teen and St. Jude Hero Cassy Colunga passed away Monday night after a nearly two-year battle with cancer.
Services for Cassy will be at Crosspointe Baptist Church in Millington, this Friday Aug. 12 at 6:30 p.m. There won’t be a separate visitation, it will all be one service. All who want to come are welcome. On Sept. 7, 2014, Cassy was rushed to the ER with severe headaches and vomiting. On Sept. 18 her diagnosis was Glioblastoma Stage IV. Over the next 23 months, Colunga and Team Cassy inspired the community, her peers and the St. Jude community. From her bright smile to her courage, Colunga became a symbol of strength, love and bond of the Millington community.
