The Millington City Beautiful Commission Yard of the Month returned earlier this month after the committee members visited the three designated areas. The winners were happy to receive the reestablished honors for May 2023. The committee will select yards throughout the city of Millington through November 2023. This is to give more incentive to homeowners for a better and more beautiful city. Each chosen resident will be presented with a certificate from Millington Mayor Terry Jones along with a gift from one of the local businesses in the city. Along with Mayor Jones, CBC Chairman Barron Martin and Ellen Williams, Yard of the Month Team members presented the May Yards of the Month awards earlier this month at the monthly Board of Alderman and Mayor Meeting at City Hall.
