The Black and Gold Millington Trojans made their way up I-40 to take on the Purple and White Haywood Tomcats in a district matchup and the return trip home was a happy one due to a 12-3 victory.
Millington improved to 2-2 overall and 2-0 in district play last week.
Senior Julizeth Cuevas really likes district games in 2022, with her having four goals vs. Haywood and now has seven goals in two games this season. Freshman Alexis Williamson likes them as well and had four goals and an assist vs the Tomcats.
In two games, Williamson has four goals and four assists.
Junior Rilee Ervin added a goal and three assists while senior Lexi Thompson, junior Jennifer Guerrero and junior Christina Cook all had a goal in the win.
