The finishing touches are being put on the new Millington McDonald’s to be located at 7839 Highway 51 North. Flag City’s newest fast food eatery is scheduled to open July 3. Starting this Monday, McDonald’s will be celebrating the opening with community leaders and the public. The new McDonald’s will feature the new exterior that has been popping up across the nation and similar to designs in nearby Munford and Arlington. Also there will be new features inside to make a trip to McDonald’s more enjoyable. For years McDonald’s has served residents of Millington at 4735 Navy Road. That location recently closed in anticipation of the new restaurant on Highway 51. The new McDonald’s is located next door to Advanced Auto Parts and will feature a back entrance from the traffic light at Highway 51 and Navy Road.
