Millington Trojan standout linebacker Patrick Macon signed a national letter of intent to play football at Arizona Western College.

The Millington Trojan Football program gathered in the Millington Central High School Library for Macon’s signing ceremony to the JUCO out West. The Arizona Western Matadors are a powerhouse winners of the 2012 and 2014 El Toro Bowl. Arizona Western has won the Western States Football League championship in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2014.

During that time Macon was busy establishing himself as one of the best Millington defenders to wear the black and gold. Macon led the Trojan in tackles this past season from his middle linebacker spot with more than 80.

Macon even returned an interception for a touchdown in 2014. He was selected to the Liberty Bowl High School All-Star roster and was named District 14-3A First Team defense. The TSWA even named Macon to the All-State time.
