The majority of the Naval Academy Preparatory School Battalion will complete their 14-day ROM period and will execute Oath Day the following day on July 31. Oath Day includes many of the events which normally would have occurred on I-Day in a normal year.
The highlight of the day will be an Oath Ceremony on Nimitz Field at 6:30 p.m. The event was streamed on Facebook Live allowing family, friends and other to view the swearing-in as midshipman/cadet candidates in the NAPS Battalion.
2020 Millington Central High School graduate Verdo Young was among those participating in the Oath Ceremony.
