Hall of Famer and Tipton County icon Adrian Nathaniel passed away Sunday from an apparent heart attack outside of his Munford home. He was 57.
Known for his days on the basketball court, Nathaniel became a fixture in the community for years of service with the Tipton County Schools system.
Known as “Big Nate” and “Coach Nate,” Munford High School honored Nathaniel with the retirement of his jersey.
Visitations will be held Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church located at 3220 Wilkinsville Road in Drummonds.
The Funeral will be held Saturday at Munford High School at 11 a.m. Jefferson Mortuary had charge.
