National Competition

The Tuscaloosa County High School Wildcats traveled to the Volunteer State to take on some of the best in Tennessee. The Wildcats played the Tipton-Rosemark Academy Rebels at Rebel Field March 18 with both teams exploding for a big inning. Tuscaloosa scored four runs in one inning. Then the Rebels answered with six runs behind big plays by seniors Conner Sanders (above) and Gil Erwin. But the Wildcats prevailed 14-10 in the contest.
