Despite being hidden behind a mask, the bright smile Millington Central High School cheerleader Trinitee Dickerson flashed as a freshman is still evident entering her sophomore year last Friday before the Ripley vs. Millington football game.

With concerns and precautions surrounding the current global pandemic, several area football teams took to the field Friday night including the Millington Trojans and Ripley Tigers. Fans who made the trip to Mooney Bosewell Field saw new safety measures and rules to enjoy the game on the field. Observing the new safety measures were MCHS Principal Mark Neal, student trainer Joseph Nutzell and MCHS Band Director Kreston Smith. All spectators had their temperature taken and wore masks throughout the evening.

The administration at Millington Central High School made sure hand sanitizer and signage was available around the stands to enforce cleanliness and social distance.
