There has been a rescheduling in the upcoming On The Ballot 2016 Millington Mayoral and Alderman Forum. Because of Fall Break for Millington Municipal Schools the week of Oct. 10, the forum for the mayoral and alderman candidates will be held Oct. 18 at the Millington Civic Center.
The On The Ballot 2016 School Board Forum will still be held Oct. 4. The Millington Star and Millington Exchange Club will host both events prior to early voting starting Oct. 19.
The Star and Exchange Club are inviting all School Board candidates to the Oct. 4 forum for a night of addressing residents’ and readers’ issues. Then two weeks later, the aldermen and mayoral candidates are invited for an evening of questions. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. both nights, and the forums will begin at 7.
