Star Staff Reports

The Tipton-Rosemark Academy Fine Arts Department invites you on a journey into the world of the beloved Dr. Seuss during their performances of Seussical, Jr., opening tonight and running through Sunday.

This colorful, high energy show will take the audience from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, while the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must then protect the Whos from a world of dangers, and he must also guard an abandoned egg that’s been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces danger and persecution, Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, and love emerge triumphant!
