Special education students from Arlington and Bolton came to the Millington Central High School Auditorium last month for  the annual Spring Fling. The event has been a MCHS tradition for more than 10 years giving the students and faculty a day of fun and games. Usually the MCHS Gymnasium plays host to the event, but this year the students had a literal stage to program the traditional talent show. Students song, dance and put on a show. The MCHS students concluded the day dancing to several songs after a pizza lunch with their peers from Arlington and Bolton. Event organizer Adrienne Coleman took a break from introducing the acts and performance to express her feeling about Spring Fling 2014. In her sixth year with the event, Coleman said this day is looked forward to by faculty, staff and especially the students.

“It’s a day of new celebration,” she said. “It’s a new beginning with the spring. It’s something we all look forward to each year and love.”
